Installing facades with TM “Sharff” decorative insulating cladding panels involves the following technological processes:
– Preparation of the base (according to DBN V.2.6-22-2001 “Installation of coatings using dry construction mixtures”), which must be solid, dry, and clean, with base unevenness deviations of ±10 mm when checked with a 2-meter level;
– Installation of the starting galvanized profile, set according to level, designed to prevent water accumulation, protect the base of the panel, and mark the zero line of installation;
– Mechanical fastening of panels, done using fasteners in the following order: panel placement; marking, drilling, cleaning of holes, fastening of elements with subsequent panel fixation;
– Filling of panel joints with grout paste.
Fastening of Decorative Cladding Panels to the Load-Bearing Base:
1. Before mounting the decorative insulating cladding panels, check the quality of the surface to which the installation will be done. The working surface must be dry and free of contaminants. Old, peeling coverings and contaminants (including oily or bituminous) must be removed.
2. Treat wall surfaces with a penetrating primer.
3. Mark the level of the bottom row of panels using a bubble or water level or relative to the wall level considering the structural features of the object.
4. Secure the starting galvanized profile according to the marked level.
5. Start the installation from the external or internal corners or characteristic structural elements of the building using TM “Sharff” corner elements. Adjust the parameters of corner elements with a construction knife and ruler or saw.
6. Apply adhesive to the corner element and stick it to the wall, securing it at attachment points 1, 2, 3, 4 (Fig. 1) with fasteners 5 (quick-mounting nail anchor 6x120), 6 (plastic “mushroom” fastener), checking the geometry and verticality of the corner.
7. When applying, ensure that the liquid foam exits the adhesive gun in a layer with a diameter of 1 – 1.5 cm. This is sufficient for panel adhesion and prevents material overuse.
8. Apply adhesive to the panel (Fig. 2), stick it to the wall close to the corner element, and fix it. Depending on the side of the next panel’s attachment, different attachment points are chosen, as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 (arrows on the drawings indicate the side of attachment relative to already mounted panels), checking the geometry and verticality of installed panels.
9. Second and subsequent rows also start from the corner, repeating steps 6 – 8, applying liquid foam to the ends.
10. After installation, fill the joints with grout. The result is decorative cladding panels that provide reliable insulation, diverse facade design options, and low cost of facade insulation due to minimal use of manual labor in their production and installation.
